Phillips Mp3 Players

What happened to my Phillips Go Gear player 4MB MP3?

I have a 4MB player Phillips Go Gear MP3 player that has been working really great since I bought it. My boyfriend was listening to the other day and told me he was working very well for him too. Then turned to go to bed and when Phillips to the screen of the same, then just turn off and not turn back on. I tried to charge and everything, but nothing works. Does anyone know what could be causing damage, and if it is solvable?

Im assuming you have version 4Gigabyte. I've heard of this before and unfortunately many times in this device specific. You can try to reset by putting a clip or something in the little hole. If that does not work, then you must send in I'm sorry for that. It seems that this is a defect design and has been happening to enough people to Philips will pay for it, or at least offset the cost of a new one. I have the 2GB model and its been working for more than a year with heavy use.
