Is the removal of the soundtrack of a video game to play on a CD/MP3 player for copyright infringement?
I would like have the soundtrack for GTA Vice City on my video game, but I'm not sure how to get the file. WAV or whatever proprietary file format of music is my computer in my. I'm not sure if that's stealing or not. When I buy a video game, I'm buying all aspects of all information contained in it, or I'm buying the physical device (CD, cartridge, whatever) and license to play the game? Or I buy everything in music?
You own the entire CD and you can extract the files to your MP3 player legally. Copyright infringement means that you can not sell copies of GTA and not like mass of copies be distributed for free.
